All second year students enrolled in a Bachelor’s program are required to carry out during both semesters of the academic year, internships with respective durations of 56 hours work per semester.

Internships can be carried out as follows:

• In public institutions, political organizations, NGOs and civic associations, editorial staffs of relevant journals etc.;
• As part of research projects coordinated by faculty members, provided that the tasks involve various types of practical-administrative tasks;
• As part of projects initiated by student groups or associations (public debates, conferences etc.), with prior formal approval from the relevant faculty member supervising the mandatory internships;

Students who are unable to find a suitable internship can ask for personalized guidance, in the form of a counseling seminar, via email at: practica@fspub.unibuc.ro (scheduling will be received by email).

Student representatives will gather the requested forms for their respective department and hand them over to the corresponding supervising faculty member, organized as a nominal list, by a mutually agreed date during the dedicated exam period.

Foreign students also need to fulfill the requirements of the mandatory internship.

Second year students who receive Erasmus scholarships for a semester abroad must only carry out an internship during the semester they still study in Romania.

The internship is a Pass/Fail (Accepted / Rejected) requirement and will be marked as such in the grading system by the relevant supervising faculty member (see the list below)

All students enrolled in a Master’s program must carry out during at least one semester a mandatory internship comprising 42 hours of work / per semester.

Students enrolled in the Master’s program “Politicile egalităţii de şanse în context românesc şi European” must carry out at least 2 internships of 70 hours of work each. The internships can be carried out in national / international public or private institutions.

Attention! Before handing over the documents to the relevant supervising faculty member, make sure that both the direct internship supervisor from your chosen organization and yourself have checked and signed all the relevant requirements.
