FINAL YEAR STUDENTS (BA 3rd Year and MA 2nd Year) AND RE-ENROLLED STUDENTS
Between 18.04. and 05.05.2023 registration forms for Re-examinations (resits /makeup exams) shall be submitted as follows:
- registration forms can be submitted for the re-examinations of the second semester of previous years for the period between 15.05 and 11.06.2023.
- registration forms can be submitted for all the re-examinations (both semesters) for the exam period 12-18.06.2023.
Please note that for the re-examinations of the current year there is no application and no fee, you can directly retake the respective failed exam.
For the Re-examinations / Grade Improvement period from 19 – 25.06.2023 registration forms will be submitted immediately after the end of the examination period, 12 to 18.06.2023, in case of failed exams. These re-examinations are payable by all students.
Examinations for grade improvement (for maximum 3 disciplines) must also be applied for separately, are not payable, and relate only to the current year (BA 3rd year and MA 2nd year of study) and require the students to have passed all their exams.

Registration forms for re-examinations, accompanied by the receipt of payment of the respective resits (payment can be made at the cashier’s office of the Rectorate of the University of Bucharest, Șos. Panduri nr.90, sector 5, Bucharest or in the bank accounts mentioned below, payment details: “Facultatea de Științe Politice-taxă de restanță”/Faculty of Political Science-re-examination fee), must be submitted to the secretariat (or electronically to the secretary in charge of the respective specialization; email addresses detailed below).
The re-examination fees are as follows:
-The fee for Romanian citizens is 50 lei/exam (IBAN RO67RNCB0076010452620072).
-The fee for foreign citizens is 40 euro/exam (IBAN RO15RNCB0076010452620135).
Students in an additional/supplementary semester can retake all the necessary exams just by submitting the registration form, without paying any fee, as they fulfilled this condition since their registration for the supplementary semester.

2nd Year Undergraduate Students
1) those who have re-examinations from the second semester of the first year of study (of the academic year 2021-2022), will submit registration forms and will pay the fee during the period 18.04-05.05.2023, and will retake the respective exams between 12.06 and 07.07.2023, and those who have re-examinations from the first semester (of the academic year 2021-2022) will follow the same procedure (registration and fee payment) and will retake the respective failed exam between 08.07 and 14.07.2023.
2) Immediately after the end of the examination period 12.06-07.07.2023, registration forms can be submitted for those with re-examinations (from the second semester of previous academic years) with payment of the re-examination fee.
Please note that for the re-examinations of the current year no registration is necessary and no fee is to be paid, so you can just resit the respective exams.
Re-examinations and Grade Improvement will take place from 01.09 to 09.09.2023 (for which a separate registration period will be organized – you will be notified at that time). For all re-examinations, registration and fee payment are necessary. Grade improvement exams (for maximum 3 disciplines) are possible only for the current academic year and also require registration, but are fee-free and the students are required to have passed all their exams.

1st Year BA and 1st Year MA Students
1) can attend the re-examinations period (both semesters) between 08.07 and 14.07.2023 without registration and payment of examination fees.
The Re-examinations and Grade Improvement exams will take place between 01.09 and 09.09.2023 (for which a separate registration period will be organized – you will be notified at that time). For all re-examinations, registration and fee payment are necessary. Grade improvement exams (for maximum 3 disciplines) are possible only for the current academic year and also require registration, but are fee-free and the students are required to have passed all their exams.
