Our guest is Prof. Adam Burakowski, researcher at the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw and author of several landmark volumes on the history and politics of Romania and Central Europe:
- Dictatura lui Nicolae Ceaușescu 1965-1989. Geniul Carpaților (transl. Vasile Moga, Polirom, 2011, 2016)
- System polityczny współczesnej Rumunii (The Political System of Contemporary Romania, ISP PAN, Kraków, 2014)
He is also co-author of the following works:
- 1989. Toamna națiunilor (co-authors: Aleksander Gubrynowicz, Paweł Ukielski; transl. V. Moga, Polirom, 2013)
- Kraj smutny, pełen humoru. Dzieje Rumunii po 1989 roku (A Sad Country, Full of Humour. The History of Romania after 1989, co-author: Marius Stan, Warszawa, 2012).
