SERGIU DELCEA

Academic title: Senior University Lecturer (tenured position)

CV Sergiu DELCEAis a Lecturer at the Faculty of Political Sciences, University of Bucharest, with a PhD in political economy (Central European University, 2021). He has previously taught courses in international political economy at Mathias Corvinus Collegium (Budapest, 2017-2018) and Corvinus University (Budapest, 2019). By bringing together the conceptual toolkits of intellectual history, political science and international politicail economy, his research contributes to recent constructivist studies on the global diffusion of social policy models.

Areas of interest: historical development of welfare states in late industrializing states, comparative social policy, the global diffusion of social policy models, International Organizations and global social policy, international political economy
