Academic title: Professor

CV | Cristian Preda is a professor of Political Science and the Dean of FSPUB in 2004-2010 and 2019-2024. Since 1992 he has taught courses on the history of political philosophy, the theory of democracy, electoral systems and Romanian political history. He was an advisor to the presidents E. Constantinescu (1999-2000), T. Basescu (2007-2009), the State Secretary at the MFA (2005-2007) and European MP (2009-2019).

Research interests:: Political culture of electoral campaigns, history of ideas, evolution of parties on a European scale.
