CALL FOR APPLICATIONS BLENDED INTENSIVE PROGRAME (BIP) Migration Studies Université de Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens
The Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) in Migration Studies brings together students from across Europe in an international learning environment. Throughout the programme, participants will have the opportunity to engage with international experts from various disciplines who will present their research on different aspects of migration.

Topics covered: Migration theories; History of migration; Gender and migration; Women’s migration; Migration and media representations; Migration and memory (oral history); Objects, letters, and migration experiences; Migration and public policies

Virtual component: 2 October 2026 – 11 December 2026
Physical mobility: 8 November 2026 – 14 November 2026 (Amiens and Paris)
Number of funded mobilities: 7
The Erasmus+ grant has been established at national level as follows:
- €79 per day (for the 6-day physical mobility period: 8–14 November 2026);
- Travel support:
- €309 for Non-Green Travel (air travel);
- €417 for Green Travel (train, bus, or carpooling with at least one other participant).

The selection process consists of submitting an online application file.

Under Option 1, applicants should indicate Université de Picardie Jules Verne, Amiens.
2. Letter of Motivation (maximum one page, in English).
3. Curriculum vitae, in Europass format, in English.
Applications must be submitted by email to irina.matei@fspub.unibuc.ro between 8 and 13 July 2026, in accordance with the competition timetable.
Minimum Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- be enrolled as full-time Master’s students both at the time of selection and throughout the duration of the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP);
- submit a complete application by the deadline;
- possess the required English language proficiency.
Following the faculty selection process, the selected students will submit the documents required for the Erasmus+ application to the University of Bucharest Erasmus Office. These documents will be communicated to the selected candidates after the completion of the selection process.
Erasmus+ Funding Information
- Erasmus+ funding is provided only for the 6-day physical mobility period (8–14 November 2026, in Amiens and Paris).
- To remain eligible for funding, selected students must also participate in the online component throughout the programme.
- The Erasmus+ grant is intended as a financial contribution towards the costs of the physical mobility and is not designed to cover all expenses incurred abroad. The mobility will be fully recognized upon return, provided that all required validation documents are submitted.
- Individual support: €79 per day for the 6-day physical mobility period (8–14 November 2026).
- In addition to the individual support grant, participants receive a one-time travel grant, calculated according to the European Commission Distance Calculator (https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/ro/resources-and-tools/distance-calculator):
