CV | Iulia Motoc is currently a judge at the European Court of Human Rights and a professor at the University of Bucharest. She is also a member of the Institute of International Law. In the past, she was a judge at the Constitutional Court of Romania, Vice-President of the United Nations Human Rights Committee and UN Special Rapporteur for the Democratic Republic of the Congo, member of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights. She has taught and researched at NYU, Yale University, the European Institute of Florence, UN Tokyo University, Université Paris-Sorbonne.
Research fields: International relations, human rights, European law.
