CV | Victor Rizescu. Studies in History (1991-1996) and in Philosophy (1993-1997) at the University of Bucharest, with MA (1997) and PhD (2003) degrees in History from the Central European University, Budapest. Doctoral (1997-1998) and post-doctoral (2004) fellowships at Oxford University. Teaching since 1998 at the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Bucharest.

Researches underway on the interplay between ideological patters and public policies in the history of Romania, with a special focus on the development of social policies and the institutions of professional representation Wider area of interest: modernization and lags of development in Europe; nationalist and multicultural politics in historical perspective; ideological patters across the lags of development in European history
